The meeting opened with a brief history of the club explaining how Gael S. established the Northern Bay Area Gene Club in 1997, how it was the first and largest Gene Club. How it evolved into a Fashion Doll club and about past meetings like Spring Time in Paris, Gene Welcomes the Troops, Think Pink, and many others.

We were happy to have so many old timers join the party. This was the third and final year Vera and I have run the club. We thank Gael for starting the whole thing, and Kristan Molchin for helping us out that first year. We also thank the many members who have helped us organize and run workshops and meetings. The GGGC Website will be maintained as a archive and resource.
