We opened with a brief history of the club explaining how Gael Sapiro established the Northern Bay Area Gene Club in 1997. It was the first and largest Gene Club. We talked about past meetings like Spring Time in Paris, Gene Welcomes the Troops, Think Pink, and many others.

Our Finale meeting was a good one. We celebrated in style with a yummy catered lunch. Dolls were as usual the main focus. There were an army of them in attendance. Members took extra care in dressing their treasures. As you can tell from the images, they added lots of extra touches for the occasion. Gael Sapiro surprised us with a champagne toast adding to the festive mood. We spent lots of time visiting and showing off our dolls, and ended with a White Elephant Gift exchange. This was a hoot. All and all everyone left with the warm after glow of quality doll time spent with friends.

We were happy to have Gael and many old timers join the last Gene Bash. This was the third and final year Vera and I have run the club and it has been rewarding. We thank Gael for starting the whole thing, and Kristan Molchin for helping us out that first year. We also thank the many members who have helped us organize and run workshops and meetings. We will keep the GGGC Website up as a archive and resource for doll fans.
