Sight
Seeing in Paris was awesome! Debbie Silva, Karyn Alexandre,
Pilar from Santa Fe, Kim Fisher, Pam Tobey, and me (Reba from
CA) were all at the same hotel for preconvention sight seeing
and we made every minute count. Lucky for us we hooked up with
Joanne from South Africa who has been to Paris many times...Debbie,
Pilar, Pam and Joanne all speak french in varying degrees and
it helped to open doors for us all. We also had the good fortune
to run into Gene friends Tomi from NY, Edith and Chelsea Riely.

One
of the first thing we did was get an overview of the city by
riding on the large hop on hop off buses that hit all the main
Paris City attractions. After
that we used the very effiecient Metro and also walked, walked
walked!
Our Hotel was in the Upper Marais district and a comfortable walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre with a little more effort. |
